Combine all ingredients. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Freeze ice cream according to manufacturer’s instructions.
– Chocolate chip – Near the very end of freezing add 2/3 cup chopped chocolate chips.
– Peppermint stick – Near the end of freezing add 2/3 cup crushed peppermint candy.
– Cinnamon – To the vanilla ice cream recipe, add 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, and reduce the vanilla to 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla.
I use Silk® soy milk.
