Recipe Created By: Kathy Przywara

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 cups heavy cream

Directions

In a bowl or pitcher, combine juices and sugar and stir to dissolve sugar. Add vanilla and cream and mix well. If ingredients were not ice cold, refrigerate for a couple of hours. Freeze according to manufacturer’s directions.

Notes

I used all fresh squeezed juice, but you could use bottled OJ.

This is very sweet and tastes just like an orange creamsicle. If you want it less sweet, cut sugar to more like 1 cup. The amount of sugar may also need to be adjusted based on the type of oranges.

Use appropriate vanilla for wheat/gluten and corn free.
