2-4 cloves garlic
1-2 Tbsp canola oil
1 1/2 cups hemp milk (unsweetened, plain)
1/4 lb shredded Daiya Cheese
to taste fresh ground black pepper
pinch cumin
to taste salt
Cook garlic in canola oil until half toasted.
Add in hemp milk and heat until boiling.
Turn off heat and add cheese. Mix really well. Add fresh ground black pepper and the tiniest shake of cumin. Serve over pasta of choice.
Also good if you caramelize onion slices with apple or pear, diced. And grill up portabella mushrooms to serve over it. Steak would work too, just slice thin. 🙂
Use a dairy-free cheese substitute that is known to melt because if it doesn’t, it won’t melt into the sauce.
