Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup flour
3/4 cup oatmeal

Directions

Mix all ingredients together, and press into pie pan. Add pie filling and bake as usual.

Notes

I love this recipe as a pie crust for pumpkin pie. It makes a crust that’s kind-of like an oatmeal cookie, and you don’t need to roll it!

Butter and Margarine: Butter is a dairy product made from cow’s milk. Margarine typically contains milk or soy, but there are milk-free and soy-free versions available.
