Wheat-Free ‘Pizza’

2 lb ground beef
4 cups mozzarella cheese
1 cup pizza sauce
pizza toppings of your choice (optional)


Preheat oven to 350 °F. Brown extra lean ground beef. Put beef in a large bowl and mix well with 2 cups of mozzarella cheese.

Spread mixture out like a pizza crust on a cookie sheet or a baking stone. Put 1 cup pizza sauce on the mixture. Top with 1-2 cups of shredded mozzarella.

Top as desired with Canadian bacon or low fat pepperoni slices. You can add onions, peppers, anything that you like on pizzas.

Cook 15 minutes or so. When the top of the cheese starts to brown, it is done. Put foil on rack below to catch any drippings.


I used a cake pan so I didn’t have any drippings to worry about. Make sure you brown meat 1st.

We use Ragu pizza sauce.
