Ingredients
Directions
In a bowl, mix together water and sugar – sprinkle with yeast. Let sit 10 minutes. Add salt, olive oil, and flour. Knead until very smooth. Divide dough in half. Roll each piece into a 12 inch circle or square (depending on what kind of baking sheet you are going to use) and let rise 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 425 °F. Flatten each pizza crust, and top with safe toppings. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Notes
The topping I used was precooked hamburger, zucchini slices, green beans, plus I lightly brushed the crust with tomato sauce before adding my toppings. The crust didn’t rise too much but was light and tasty and if it does raise more than you’d like punch it down a bit before adding your toppings. The second pizza I made according to what my husband and I could eat (included cheese) and we loved it too.
Note: Any meat or vegetable your child likes could be used even what we may consider unusual.
