Maple Carrots

1 large onion, sliced
2 Tbsp margarine
6 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
2 medium apples, sliced


Saute onion in margarine until tender. Add carrots and maple syrup. Cover and cook on low for 15 minutes.

Add apples, and cover and simmer until tender, maybe another 10 minutes.



Butter and Margarine: Butter is a dairy product made from cow’s milk. Margarine typically contains milk or soy, but there are milk-free and soy-free versions available.
