1 6 oz can tomato paste
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp ground white pepper


Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk until smooth. When mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often. Remove pan from heat and let cool. Store covered in refrigerator.
