4 cups regular oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup molasses
1/3 cup water
2 Tbsp oil
1 cup dates, chopped and pitted
1 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 325 °F.
Combine oats, cinnamon and salt, set aside. In saucepan, combine honey, molasses, water and oil, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over oat mixture. Spoon mixture into well greased jelly pan, spread evenly.
Bake 30 minutes until lightly browned, stirring every 10 minutes or so. Remove from oven, stir in fruit. Cool completely.
You could substitute other dried fruits.
