3 to 4 apples, chopped finely
1 3/4 cups chopped dates
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp salt
1 cup + 2 Tbsp vinegar
1 1/2 onions, chopped finely
3 1/2 to tomatoes, chopped finely
4 Tbsp mustard seed
1 cup golden raisins


Boil all ingredients together until tender, approximately 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not allow to burn.

Store in pint jars in the refrigerator. These will last fine for several months.

This is WONDERFUL on sandwiches or with meat.
