1 medium head red cabbage, shredded
2 medium apples, chopped finely
1/3 cup raisins
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
dash salt and pepper
1 tsp margarine
Put cabbage, apple, and raisins in large skillet with 1/2 cup water. Cover, and heat to a boil. Cook about 10 minutes, until almost tender. Drain.
Separately, mix sugar, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until blended. Add to skillet with cabbage, and add margarine. Cover and cook for another 4-5 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
