3 Tbsp butter
3 Tbsp flour
1/4 cup chopped mushrooms
1/4 cup chopped chives
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 1/4 cups milk
Melt butter in saucepan, and sautee vegetables. Stir in flour and seasonings.
Cook over medium heat until bubbly, and then add liquid slowly, stirring with wire whisk to avoid lumps.
Cook til thick.
