Ingredients
    Cake Ingredients
  • 4 tbsp apples (small dice)
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 dash cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp gluten-free flour mix
  • 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp milk alternative
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Swirl Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • Glaze Ingredients (optional)
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp milk alternative
Instructions
  1. Combine diced apple, a dash of cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp of sugar in a mug. Microwave for 45 seconds.

  2. Add the remaining cake ingredients to the mug and mix.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the swirl ingredients. Pour the swirl mixture on top of the cake batter. Use a fork or knife to swirl into the batter but don’t fully incorporate.

  4. Microwave 1-11/2 minutes.

  5. Combine the glaze ingredients in a separate bowl and pour over the cooked cake.
