Ingredients

bread dough
1/2 cup melted margarine
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 cup pecans (optional)

Directions

Use any “safe” bread dough, cut into 1 to 1 1/2 inch cubes, use kitchen scissors to cut it up easier.

Place sugars and cinnamon in ziplock bag, and shake pieces of dough until they are covered with sugar/cinnamon mixture.

Spray a bundt pan with cooking spray.

If using pecans, place them on bottom of greased bundt pan, then place sugar coated dough pieces in bundt pan, kind of layering it up.

Melt margarine in microwave. Pour margarine on top of last dough layer in bundt pan. Sprinkle top with left over sugar mixture from zip lock bag. Do not use all of the sugar mixture.

Bake at 350 °F for about 25 minutes closer to 25 – 30 minutes– until golden and bubbly.

When you remove from oven, immediately invert the pan on cake platter or dish, let pan rest upside down so all the sweet mixture runs down the bread before you remove the pan.

Substitutions

To avoid tree nuts, omit pecans.
Butter and Margarine: Butter is a dairy product made from cow’s milk. Margarine typically contains milk or soy, but there are milk-free and soy-free versions available.
Gluten: Gluten is a protein found in specific grains (wheat, spelt, kamut, barley, rye). Other grains are naturally gluten-free but may have cross-contact with gluten-containing grains. Look for certified gluten-free products if you need to avoid gluten. Find out more about wheat and gluten substitutions [1].
