Spoon chicken stew into individual casserole dishes. Cover with a pastry of your choice and bake at 375 °F until golden brown.
I've used Pepperidge Farm pastry shells or Pepperidge Farm pastry sheets and they work fine, too. Be sure to check for allergens in these products.
