1 15 oz can chickpeas, drained
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
3/4 cup tahini
1 bulb (or to taste) garlic, minced
1-2 Tbsp soy sauce
lots of fresh ground pepper
dash cayenne
1/4 cup lemon juice
Add the lemon juice while mixing ingredients in a food processor
Add enough lemon juice to make it the right consistency. We like it rather thick. Mash and mix until creamy. This recipe is quite spicy.
To avoid gluten and wheat, select gluten and wheat-free soy sauce.
