1 15 oz can chick peas, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup olive oil
6 Tbsp sesame seed paste (tahini)
5 Tbsp lemon juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Process until smooth.
Serve on crackers or pita wedges.
Many brands of tahini are cross contaminated with peanuts or nuts. Verify ingredients for safety.
