Honey-Lime Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

1/2 cup honey
1 Tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp garlic, crushed
2 green onions, minced (white and light green parts only)
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp salt
1 lime (freshly squeezed)
1/4 cup cilantro (chopped)
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

Directions

Microwave honey until liquid.

Put honey, vinegars, ginger, garlic, onion, pepper, salt, lime juice, and cilantro in blender. Puree until smooth.

Add olive oil and blend until combined.

Serve with Avocado Wrappers [1]

(Store leftover sauce in refrigerator.)

This dipping sauce was created to go with Avocado Wrappers [1]. It was designed to have a balance of sweet and sour, with cilantro added to complement the avocado in the main dish, and give it a Mexican kick.
