Ingredients
6 bone-in chicken pieces
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp dry mustard
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp soy sauce
3/4 cup honey
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °F.
Skin chicken pieces, if desired. Place chicken skin side down in a 9×13″ baking dish or other dish with high sides that will snugly hold chicken.
Evenly distribute ingredients over top of the chicken in the order in which they appear, ending with honey. Don’t mix them.
Bake uncovered in center of oven for 1 hour turning every 15 minutes. Lift chicken from juices. Skim off and discard fat from juices and serve as dipping sauce with the chicken.

Substitutions
If avoiding wheat/gluten, use wheat-free tamari.
