2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup oil
1 egg or equivalent replacement
1/2 cup milk alternative
1 tsp vinegar
1/3 cup maple or pancake syrup
brown sugar
cinnamon
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices. Combine wet ingredients, then add to dry ingredients. Stir together and place in a 8x8 pan or a pie pan.
Top with brown sugar and cinnamon mix.
Bake at 350 °F for 30 minutes or till fork tested.
I use oat milk.
