Ingredients

3 Tbsp warm or hot water
1 Tbsp ground flax seed

Directions

Grind flax seed in a coffee grinder (or any other blending machine) until flax is very fine. In a bowl mix 1 tablespoon of flax seed, and 3 tablespoons of warm or hot water. Let sit.

Use as an egg substitute in cookies, cakes, breads or other recipes where the egg acts mainly as a binder.

Notes

Every 1 tablespoon of flax seed and 3 tablespoons of water combined, is equal to 1 egg.
