Ingredients
1 whole chicken
1/4 cup flour of choice for thickening
salt and pepper
Directions
Place chicken in large pot of water, and bring to a boil. Turn heat down slightly, keeping at a low boil, and cook for hours.
Remove and de-bone chicken. Either set meat aside for another purpose, or chop and return to broth.
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in flour to thicken.

Substitutions
Use any flour that works well for thickening.
