Recipe Information

Recipe Created By: mom2camfox

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1/4 cup fine cane sugar OR confectioners (powdered) sugar
1 tsp key lime zest
6 Tbsp melted margarine
3 Tbsp fresh key lime juice

Directions

Mix all ingredients and form into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 °F for 12-15 minutes….they don’t really brown.

Let cool completely before removing from pan. These are delicious buttery cookies! I haven’t tried them as cut out dough but I think I will.

Substitutions

Butter and Margarine: Butter is a dairy product made from cow’s milk. Margarine typically contains milk or soy, but there are milk-free and soy-free versions available.
Gluten: Gluten is a protein found in specific grains (wheat, spelt, kamut, barley, rye). Other grains are naturally gluten-free but may have cross-contact with gluten-containing grains. Look for certified gluten-free products if you need to avoid gluten. Find out more about wheat and gluten substitutions [1].
